Food Drive at Blackwell-Nov. 26th- Dec. 7th

  • Blackwell School is excited to hold our annual food drive. Our goal is to demonstrate that through our actions we CAN and DO make a difference in the lives of others close to our homes. All food and household items (such as Kleenex, toilet paper, soap, diapers, shampoo etc.) are donated directly to our District 54 Food Pantry, located at Keller Junior High. These collections help approximately 200 District 54 families each year.
  • Our school goal is to collect and donate 500 food and other household items this year. Last year we collected over 1,000 items.  Our food drive begins Monday, November 26th and runs until December 7th.
  • Please check the expiration dates on your items prior to donating. We are not allowed to donate any expired food items and we must check every item and throw it away if it is expired.
