What is Creation Station/Makerspace?
A makerspace is a collaborative work space inside a school, library or separate public/private facility for making, learning, exploring and sharing that uses high tech to no tech tools.
Everyone is a Maker.
Our world is what we want to make it.
If you can imagine it, you can make it.
We share what we make, and help each other make what we share.
We see ourselves as more than consumers – we are productive; we are creative.
Makers ask, “What can I do with what I know?”
It’s alright if you fail, as long as you use it as an opportunity to make something better.
The students will start out with team activities involving building. They will use simple materials, such as… blocks, paper, tape, cups, string, cardboard and many others. A challenge/problem will be given and they will have to work as a team to design a solution. Look here for updates and pictures about what is happening in class.
