Dear Blackwell Families,
As we look back on our final full week of school, our hearts are incredibly full. It has been a week centered on community, reflection, and celebration. Our Pop-Up Museum and PTA End of Year Picnic were a massive success! It was truly wonderful to see so many of our families gathered together to celebrate all of our students' hard work and creativity. A giant thank you to our phenomenal PTA volunteers who put so much time and heart into making the picnic run so smoothly! It was an absolute joy to celebrate the conclusion of another successful school year with all of you. We ended the week connecting with our Blackwell Houses for a final meeting full of laughs, fun, and community bonding.
We hope you have a wonderful long weekend!

Blackwell Assistant Principal
We are incredibly grateful to Ms. Shapiro for her amazing impact on the Blackwell community. We will always appreciate everything she has done to support our students, staff, and families. While we will miss her tremendously, we wish her nothing but the absolute best as she takes on her next professional chapter! We are excited to welcome Ms. Lily Moradi to the Blackwell family for the upcoming school year. She will be splitting her time between Blackwell and Campanelli Elementary School. While she won’t be in our building daily, we look forward to welcoming her to our fantastic community.
To the Parents of incoming 7th grade students: Junior High Sports, Intramurals, and Clubs
Please encourage your child to get involved in Junior High Sports, Intramurals, and Club offerings. State law and district board policy requires students to have a current physical examination and all required immunizations on file with the school nurse in order for a student to tryout and/or participate in interscholastic sports or intramurals. The exam must have been administered within one year prior to starting that grade level. A copy of the physical examination form along with additional information can be found at https://sd54.org/healthservices/. Please contact your Jr. High Nurse for any questions or concerns

Kindergarten Popsicles at the Park — August 5th
Calling all incoming kindergarten families! Help your student start the year with some familiar faces by joining us on Wednesday, August 5th from 5:00–6:00 PM at Gray Farm Park (located right behind Blackwell). This is a fun, casual opportunity for incoming kindergarteners and their families to play, connect, and meet future classmates before the school year officially begins. We can't wait to welcome our youngest Bobcats
