April 4, 2026
Dear Blackwell Families,

It’s been a great first week back from break! Our Bobcats settled right back into their routines with a focus on community and growth. We started the week with a special activity centered on making sure every student feels a sense of belonging here at Blackwell.

This week was also about looking forward. Students revisited their goals for the remainder of the year and got creative with vision boards. These visual reminders are helping our Bobcats stay focused and excited about everything they still want to accomplish before the end of the school year. We are so proud of their drive!

We hope you have a wonderful long weekend.

PTA SOS: We Need a President & Treasurer (Yes, You!) 🚨
Our school is amazing… but even amazing schools need parents to keep things running. Right now, we’re urgently looking for two brave (and mildly caffeinated) heroes to step in as PTA President and PTA Treasurer.

Before you scroll past thinking “not me”
  • Do you care about your kid’s school?
  • Do you occasionally answer emails?
  • Can you nod thoughtfully in a meeting?

Congrats — you’re already overqualified.

Here’s the truth:
No one steps into these roles knowing everything. The “secret” is just showing up, asking questions, and Googling responsibly. Plus, you’ll have a whole team, past leaders, and school support to help you every step of the way.

What you’ll gain:
  • A real voice in your child’s school experience
  • Stronger connections with teachers and families
  • The satisfaction of making things happen (and yes, sometimes snacks are involved)

What we need (like… soon):
  • PTA President: Helps guide the vision, run meetings, and keep things moving
  • PTA Treasurer: Keeps track of funds and makes sure we don’t accidentally spend the field trip budget on pizza (tempting, but no)
This isn’t about being perfect — it’s about caring enough to jump in.

👉 If you’ve ever thought, “Someone should do something”… this is your moment.

Step up. We promise you won’t regret it. (And we’ll definitely help you.)
