Dear Blackwell Families,

What an amazing turnout for our Trunk or Treat event on Wednesday! The Blackwell community truly shone, it was so special to see everyone enjoying the fun. A huge thank you to all the families who came and especially to those who got creative and decorated cars! We’re so excited to keep the spooky fun going with our Halloween festivities this afternoon!

Have a wonderful and safe Halloween weekend!

Veteran’s Day

It is tradition to celebrate Veteran’s Day (Tuesday, November 11th) at Blackwell. Leading up to Veteran’s Day, students will participate in singing patriotic songs and learning important details about why we honor this day. On Veteran’s Day students will be participating in activities and watching a slideshow to honor and thank all the veterans related to Blackwell students and staff.

  • If you have a family member who has proudly served our country, and would like them to be honored on this day, please complete this google form by Friday, October 31st. Veterans will be recognized in a slideshow presentation and their picture and information will also be printed and posted on the wall at Blackwell. If you have previously submitted a veteran’s information, there is no need to resubmit.

Blackwell Science Fair is coming!

Is your child interested in participating in the Science Fair but you don’t know what to expect? Please come to a parent meeting in the lounge on Wednesday, November 12th at 5:00pm. We will explain the process and answer all your questions! If you are a Blackwell Science Fair veteran, most of how the fair will run will be the same as in previous years. However, feel free to join us to get more information. Packets will go home to students the following day!

Please reach out to Alexa Frey or Marissa Dobberfuhl  with any questions.
