We had a fantastic week of learning and fun at Blackwell! On Veteran’s Day, all grade levels were able to honor and learn about the important contributions of our Veterans to our country. We are also excited to celebrate two of our dedicated staff members, Mrs. Rogers and Mrs. Cichy, as this year’s Blackwell Blue Apple Award recipients! We are incredibly grateful for their dedication and everything they do for our community every day. Congratulations!

We look forward to connecting with all of our families during conferences on November 24th and 25th. If you haven’t scheduled a conference with your child’s teacher, please do so right away. The sign-up window closes on Friday, November 21st. You’ll find all the details on how to sign up for this year’s conferences below.

On Monday, November 17th Whole Child Report Cards will be available. This report card offers a comprehensive overview of your student’s progress, encompassing not only academic achievements but also their development in various social-emotional areas including extra-curricular involvement and school attendance.

To access the report card:

1. Visit https://families.sd54.org OR click the link found under District Announcements once logged in to the District 54 parent portal.
2. Log in with your District 54 Parent Portal username and password
3. Click on the whole student profile/report card tile

If you encounter any difficulties accessing the portal or viewing the report card, please do not hesitate to contact our school office for assistance. We are here to support you. We encourage you to review the report card thoroughly and discuss your student’s progress with them. Should you have any questions, please reach out to your student’s teacher.
