Dear Blackwell Families,

 

What a fantastic Field Day! The sun was out, the energy was high, and our Bobcats had an absolute blast. A massive thank you to Mr. Navas for his incredible organization and to our amazing parent volunteers, we truly could not have run these stations without your help and enthusiasm! We also want to give a special shout-out to our sixth graders. They did a wonderful job supporting our primary students throughout the morning, showing true leadership and Bobcat spirit.

 

Please remember that this Wednesday is a half day early dismissal at 11:40 AM. The fun continues that evening with our Pop-Up Museum and End of Year Picnic from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM. We can’t wait to celebrate the end of a great year with all of you!

Join us for our annual Pop-up Up Museum on Wednesday, May 20th. We are excited to combine this event with our PTA Picnic on May 20th from 5-7pm. We hope that many of our families can come help us celebrate another successful school year. We will be celebrating with an outside picnic with Bobcat temporary tattoos, DJ Wade, and the Kona Ice Truck. The event is free to our families and will have food for cash purchase only.

 

Please encourage your child to get involved in Junior High Sports, Intramurals, and Club offerings. State law and district board policy requires students to have a current physical examination and all required immunizations on file with the school nurse in order for a student to tryout and/or participate in interscholastic sports or intramurals. The exam must have been administered within one year prior to starting that grade level. A copy of the physical examination form along with additional information can be found at https://sd54.org/healthservices/. Please contact your Jr. High Nurse for any questions or concerns.

Check in at the kiosk in the foyer, check in with the office, then head to the gym – no experience needed, just your smile and enthusiasm.
